Our engineering environment comprises both mature monolithic enterprise systems and modernized microservices-based components.
 

What You’ll Be Doing
This role is ideal for developers who enjoy working across a blend of proven systems and evolving technologies, and who are eager to contribute to digital transformation initiatives for leading financial institutions.

Role Scope
• Develop and maintain modern, scalable applications (backend, web, and mobile channels).
• Design and build modular services that support banking and payment platforms.
• Solve real-world performance and scalability challenges across microservices.
• Work closely with project leads and technical specialist throughout the SDLC in Agile or Waterfall environments.
• Participate in CI/CD automation, system deployment, and environment management.
• Contribute to engineering discussions, improvements, and innovation.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize performance, and resolve system level defects.

 Who we are looking for - Key Requirements
• 3+ years of hands-on Java development in enterprise applications.
• Solid in Spring Boot, JEE, REST APIs, and object-oriented design.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, GitLab, and SonarQube.
• Experienced with microservices architecture and containerization using Docker / Podman.
• Exposure to orchestration tools like Kubernetes or OpenShift (OCP).
• Cloud-savvy: familiarity with AWS, Azure, Huawei Cloud, or private cloud environments.
• Good SQL/database skills in DB2, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Added advantage if you know Prometheus, Grafana.
• A team player who’s curious, adaptable, and eager to solve complex problems.
• Must be a Malaysian citizen.
• Due to enterprise-grade system access, data protection, and regulatory compliance, this is a 100% onsite role (Klang Valley).
