Job Overview:
The incumbent is responsible for assisting the IT head or team in the facilitation, coordination,
implementation, executive, control, and completion of each marketing project for the business
need; while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
The position requires strong attention to detail, operational task management and
problem- solving ability.

• Participate in and contribute to the review, analysis and verification of business & software requirements.
• Provide guidance and direction to junior developers.
• Perform codes review.
• Communicate the detailed design to the development team.
• Able to perform R&D and provide solutions.
• Develop detailed design and specifications for the application components according to the defined software requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Able to support when production issues arise even at weekends.
• Maintain and develop various in-house applications.
• Maintain cutting edge knowledge of current and emerging technologies, industry trends and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation and provide training to support team/clients.

Education & Experience:

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree/Postgraduate. Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
• Passion in Software Development is Compulsory.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Self-motivated & Independent.
• At least 2 -3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• In-depth knowledge in Design & Development of Web-based Back-end Software Application.
• In-depth knowledge in API design & development & API integration.
• Knowledge in Web Scraping is a plus.
• Experience in database performance tuning and query enhancement is an added advantage.
• Experience in dev-ops relevant tasks is an added advantage.
• Knowledge on interface/API is an added advantage.
• Ability to work with customers and identify adoption barriers and put forth plans to address these issues.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic SQL and relational databases (MySQL, IBM DB2).
• Required language: English. Proficiency in Mandarin / Cantonese is an added advantage.
• Able to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple tasks with strong prioritization and time management skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt to fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently under supervision and collaborate as a good team player.
