Job Summary:

This person will be part of the Master Data Management (MDM) team located in Malaysia who will be providing support for the business units in Asia and reports to Regional Governance team in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

1)     Provide end to end Master Data Management tasks in SAP FI/CO (Creation, Validation, Governance) support in accordance with established processes and procedures including Charts of Account, Vendor Master, Customer Master, Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Order, WBS elements, Statistical Key Figures, CO allocation cycles, Bank Master, Segments, Management Dimensions, Ariba, Customized tables for various interfaces.

2)     Act as the first level contact by providing support for business users in investigating, analysing and solving master data related issues.

3)     Actively work and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders for requests that required transport change.

4)     Ensure that all Master Data processes are documented.

5)     Ensure that all Master Data request templates are updated.

6)     Participate in periodic data review and housekeeping activities to improve the overall Master Data quality of the organization.

7)     Supports controls and regular checks to ensure compliance with internal control, standards and rules.

Job RequirementsL

1)     Diploma/Degree in Finance/IT with minimum 3-5 years of working experience in Master Data Management field.

2)     Solid understanding of master data fields in SAP FI, integration points and impact.

3)     Comprehensive knowledge in Finance & Ariba end to end processes.

4)     Experience of working with global template and harmonized structure will be advantageous.

5)     Experience of working with increased workload during critical time (e.g. during Financial closing period) and able to resolve medium to high complexity tasks.

6)     Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate in a clear manner across all levels.

7)     Team player with interpersonal skills and growth mindset with willingness to learn new skills.

8)     Proficiency of using SAP system, LSMW for mass activities and good understanding of SAP tables are advantageous.

9)     Certification in ITIL and MDM/MDG is a plus.
